Radon is the important source of natural radiation and most of it comes from the inhalation of 222Rn and its progeny which is prominent in closed atmosphere. Measurements were made in 150-houses covering 15 locations in different parts of Bangalore Metropolitan, India during 2007-2010. The Solid State Nuclear Track Detector technique is used for the measurements. The arithmetic mean of 222Rn, 220Rn concentration in monitored area varies from 17.2 ± 1.2 to 85.8 ± 2.3, 16.1 ± 1.4 to 38.2 ± 5.4 with a mean of 33.3 ± 6.1 and 21.5 ± 3.4 Bq m
